Isaiah, Part 38 | The Moabites

Isaiah Ch. 15 Moab, originating from Lot’s incestuous relationship with his daughter, had a complicated history with Israel. Isaiah prophesied destruction upon Moab, paralleling Jeremiah’s prophecy a century later. The downfall was attributed to Moab’s arrogance and hostility towards Israel. Despite their destruction, Jeremiah foresaw Moab’s eventual restoration.
