Jesus’ arrest and trials are presented as a fulfillment of Isaiah 53:7–8, emphasizing His willing silence, unjust treatment, and suffering for the sins of others. In this lesson, Dr. James Tour also draws a practical application from Jesus’ silence: believers do not need to defend themselves against every accusation or respond to every negative thing said about them.
